Though Rock for Riley 2006 might well have served as a fitting final chapter to a tremendous trilogy of rock/philanthropy concerts, the recipe of live rock to benefit the lives of Indiana's children was too good to retire.

My Morning Jacket and The Slip, the students of the Indiana University School of Medicine, Rock for Riley's generous sponsors and a theater-full of eager concert-goers together raised over $200,000 for Riley Hospital.  The balloons were swept away, our ears stopped ringing but Rock for Riley continues to surge toward a goal of $1 million for the kids at Riley.
